Abu Dhabi City Municipality has announced completion of landscaping projects worth Dh23 million and also distributed 1,500 fruit tree seedlings as part of ‘Home Tree’ initiative in Al Shahama.
The initiatives by the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport – Abu Dhabi City Municipality comes as part of the Plantation Week.

The fifth annual Middle East Smart Landscape Summit 2017, held under the patronage of Dubai Municipality began today.
The municipality revealed that it had removed 208 palm trees and 367 other trees, 22 bushes as well as 97,000 square metres of damaged green areas.
The Green Abu Dhabi initiative is in full swing in the emirate, the civic body has announced. The initiative aims to protect palm trees as well as other trees, in addition to planting fencing and landscaping medians in Abu Dhabi.
