The fifth Middle East Smart Landscape Summit opened in Dubai under the patronage of Dubai Municipality, bringing together landscape architects, planners and suppliers.
Day-one sessions explored collaboration between public-realm and building designers, the art of public space, and the role of landscape architects in shaping liveable cities ahead of Expo 2020 and Dubai Plan 2021.
The second day turned to landscape urbanism, safari parks and greener, healthier Gulf cities, with more than 35 companies supporting the event.
