Abu Dhabi City Municipality completed landscaping projects worth Dh23 million and handed out 1,500 fruit tree seedlings under its ‘Home Tree’ initiative in Al Shahama.
Announced during Plantation Week, the second phase of the municipality’s landscaping programme covered park renovations in Al Maqtaa, Bahia and Rahba, new plazas on several main streets and planting works across the city.
Alongside the projects, municipal teams gave residents seedlings and practical advice on caring for trees — part of a wider goal to double the number of trees in the emirate and protect the environment.
